Meg has been the Executive Director Director at SAPARS since July 2023. Before joining the SAPARS team, Meg spent 15 years working in the field of sexual violence intervention and prevention here in Maine. She previously served as a Title IX Coordinator at Colby College, a program coordinator for the Maine Network of Children's Advocacy Centers, a forensic interviewer and program manager at the Children's Advocacy Center of Kennebec and Somerset Counties, and a sexual assault response team advocate and prevention educator at a local sexual assault support center. When she's not working, Meg enjoys being outside (running, hiking, skiing, camping, swimming, and paddleboarding), cooking, reading, and spending time with her loved ones.
