Angie Schierer Named
North Country Healthcare President of Ambulatory Operations
WHITEFIELD, NH, June 6, 2025 – North Country Healthcare (NCH) is pleased to announce that Angie Schierer, DBA, MHA, RN, has recently been named President of Ambulatory Operations for North Country Healthcare (NCH).
A dynamic leader with over 15 years of experience fostering innovation in healthcare, Ms. Schierer earned a Doctorate in Business Administration and Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration from California Intercontinental University, and Bellevue University, respectively. She also holds multiple Nursing degrees.
Most recently, Ms. Schierer held the position of Principal, Vice President and Education & Executive Healthcare Consultant for Canopy Associates; Prior, she served Ziva Medical as its Chief Operations Officer/Vice President of Quality, where she played integral strategic roles including hospital reopening planning and recruitment for primary and specialty care providers.
Ms. Schierer’s rural healthcare experience also includes service as Vice President, Quality, Compliance Innovation and Education for the Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network, working within the non-profit network of 51 critical access hospitals and 32 rural health clinics, among others.
A certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Ms. Schierer is a Certified Leadership Development Instructor, Certified John Maxwell Leadership Coach and Certified Qualtrics Data Scientist. She holds multiple publications and has presented at numerous national organizations including Georgia Hometown Health and Custom Learning Systems.
In the role of President of Ambulatory Operations for NCH, Ms. Schierer’s primary responsibilities will include, among other items, the development and implementation of strategic plans for provider practice operations, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration and innovation with the provider practice teams of North Country Healthcare and identifying areas of improvement and implementing actions to attain the improvement.
